It's not dead, development is being transferred back to the original creator, Thomas Ludwig, although I will continue to contribute in some way via shared source code etc.

A question please, will it ever be released in the 3d version of chaotica? If yes, do you know if it will take many years? Would it already be the chaotica 3.0 ?

Pretty sure it's on it's way sooner rather than later.

The devs/owners need to show some life in this project soon me thinks. It has been such a long time with no updates to the code this may be turning into abandonware. I hope not because I truly love Chaotica and want to see the next version.

How about at a minimum you provide a roadmap?

It looked like they are transferring ownership back to the original creator. AKA Lots of bureaucratic BS that takes alot of time. Especially when it comes to coding and how programmers are compensated to continue using their code.

Hello, sorry for my late reply here; I've not been giving the forum as much attention as I should, and am usually available in the Fractal Chats server with many other Chaotica users. Having said that, I will make sure to check here regularly again.

Regarding continued Chaotica development, there is a new version in the works with more than double speed improvement for high end GPUs, as well as smaller fixes that have been reported. Thanks to Nick's help I'm back up and running and will push for this new release soon.
