Hi,

New to Chaotica. Any pointers to draw a one-thirds grid, like tic-tac-toe, over the content?

Thanks,
Dave

Are you looking to draw a grid as an aesthetic guideline, or are you wanting to draw a grid as part of the artwork? You can use screen sketch on Windows Ink to draw over your content.

What I usually do is render an image, load that image to Photoshop, and alter the composition from there. Once I'm happy with how it looks in Photoshop, I make those changes directly in Chaotica.

Yes, that's intention. I'm on the Mac and found an app that draws grids over the whole screen (not a floating window over Chaotica); so each time the render ratio is changed, a new grid is needed.

It would be very useful if Chaotica has an option to display grids (3rds, halves...etc.) Should be easy to implement.

Thanks for your suggestion!

That would be helpful indeed! Would save me the extra step of having to fine-tune the composition in Photoshop. I would suggest posting your feature request in Bugs and Requests if you haven't already done so. :)

Will do, thanks for the reminder.

P.S. For some reason, I subscribe to forum posts but never get any email notification for replies.

Same here. I'm not sure why.
